3Way were proud to be the lead sponsor of a recent unique, one night only West End musical.

To celebrate the launch of The Charlie Kristensen Foundation, 3Way became involved with rising and established stars of the West End to put on a sensational evening at London’s Lyric Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue. Hosted by RuPauls Drag Race star Davina de Campo the show took a packed audience on a journey down the yellow brick road of Charlie’s imagination, to find the place where he belongs.

Charlie Kristensen started his #CheerUpCharlie campaign in 2019. Having been severely bullied for 18 months, in part due to his love of performing, Charlie opened up to his performance coach West End actress Jacqueline Hughes. Jacqueline rallied support from the theatre industry and hundreds of performers, celebrities, and creatives from the West End, Broadway and Hollywood identified with Charlie’s story and sent messages of support. Following backstage invitations and national media interviews, Charlie decided to channel his experiences and the support he’d received into fighting for others, by becoming an anti-bullying ambassador. In June 2021 he was recognised with “The Diana Award” – the highest accolade a young person can achieve for social action or humanitarian efforts.

Charlie is chuffed to have now officially taken the opportunity of launching The Charlie Kristensen Foundation during the performance and is now beginning to tell his story to pupils and teachers in schools across the UK to help young people with anti-bullying support and resources.
