3Way Requirements

 

3Way will strive for sustainability by reducing consumption, sourcing effective products and services responsibly, and using them efficiently to minimise waste and by‑products.

We will:

  • Define and approve products for use, ensuring they meet required performance and environmental standards.
  • Monitor tasks to ensure they are completed effectively and correctly on the first occasion.
  • Implement new systems and technologies, such as microfibre cleaning methods, to reduce environmental impact.
  • Ensure products are used by trained personnel in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines.
  • Maintain and service equipment regularly to maximise efficiency and lifespan.

3Way acknowledges that the cleaning services provided to our clients must be delivered within a robust Environmental Management System, with the overarching aim of continual reduction in environmental impacts and continual improvement in environmental performance.

This policy supports our commitments as a certified B Corp and is implemented through our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

It is our policy to:

  • Minimise waste and the consumption of resources, including materials, fuel, water and energy, and ensure unavoidable waste is recycled or disposed of responsibly.

Health & Safety Policy

General Policy Statement  

Introduction

3Way recognises and accepts its responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all associated legislation for the health, safety and welfare of its employees, subcontractors and others who may be affected by our activities.
We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment and to preventing work‑related injury and ill health through effective risk management, consultation, training and continual improvement.
As a B Corp certified organisation, 3Way is committed to acting responsibly, protecting people, and operating with integrity and accountability. Our approach to health and safety reflects these values and supports our wider commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices.

Policy Commitment

The declared policy of 3Way is to:
  • Achieve and maintain high standards of health, safety and welfare.
  • Comply with, and where reasonably practicable exceed, all applicable health and safety legislation and other requirements to which the organisation subscribes.

Management Responsibility

The 3Way management team accepts full responsibility for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of employees and others affected by our operations, in fulfilment of our moral, legal and economic responsibilities.
Appropriate measures will be taken to protect employees, subcontractors, visitors, clients and members of the public who may be affected by our activities.
Mr A. Webb has overall responsibility for Health, Safety and Welfare and is accountable for ensuring that:

  • Performance is monitored and reviewed regularly.
  • Adequate resources are provided to implement this policy effectively.

Employee Responsibilities

All employees are required to:
  • Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures, instructions and training provided.
  • Report hazards, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly.
All 3Way employees are made aware of their individual responsibilities and those of others under their control.

Communication and Access

The Health & Safety Policy is available to all employees via the Employee Handbook and at Head Office.
All persons who are employed by, subcontracted to, visiting premises or sites of operation, or to whom 3Way owes a duty of care, are required to co‑operate with and conform to this policy.

Welfare Arrangements

3Way will ensure that appropriate welfare facilities are provided, including:
  • First aid equipment and arrangements.
  • Access to welfare facilities relevant to the workplace or site.
Where applicable, 3Way will coordinate health and safety arrangements with those provided by host clients or principal contractors.

Review

This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to ensure it remains effective, compliant and aligned with best practice.

Energy policy

3Way specialises in the provision of cleaning and other support services.

It is 3Way’s policy to ensure that the use of energy within our control is managed effectively through a structured and systematic approach, leading to continual improvement in energy performance, energy efficiency, energy use and consumption.

To achieve this, 3Way operates a fully integrated Management System, registered with an accredited third-party certification body, which carries out regular independent audits in addition to our own internal monitoring processes.

This system incorporates our ISO certifications, including:

Principles

3Way is committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly. To prevent modern slavery and human trafficking, we adhere to the following principles:

Monitoring and Evaluation

We monitor the effectiveness of our approach through:

Reporting Concerns

Concerns may be reported through the whistleblowing policy or other appropriate channels. Reports may be made confidentially or anonymously. All reports will be taken seriously, investigated promptly and handled sensitively.

Consequences of Breach

Any breach of this code or related policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract. Legal action may also be taken where laws are breached.

3Way reserves the right to terminate relationships with any party found to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

Supplier Code of Conduct – Social & Environmental Responsibility

3Way is committed to working with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical conduct, human rights and environmental responsibility, in line with our B Corp principles.

Supplier Expectations

Suppliers and contractors must:

  • Comply with all applicable laws relating to labour, human rights, modern slavery, health and safety, environmental protection and anti‑corruption.
  • Prevent forced labour, child labour, exploitation and trafficking within their operations and supply chains.
  • Provide fair wages, working hours and safe working conditions.
  • Respect dignity, equality and freedom of association.
  • Implement grievance mechanisms and protective procedures.
  • Train employees on modern slavery risks.
  • Reduce environmental impact through sustainable practices.
  • Cooperate with audits and assessments.
  • Report concerns or breaches promptly.

Suppliers must provide evidence of compliance on request. 3Way reserves the right to conduct audits, including via third parties.
